- Coningsby Hospital Car Service is part of the Coningsby Helping Hands charity and operated by a co-ordinator.
- It is there to meet the medical transport needs of people in Coningsby.
- It must adhere to the Constitution of Coningsby Helping Hands at all times
- It keeps audited accounts which are made available to the Charities Comission whenever required.
- It relies totally on Volunteer drivers who only receive out of pocket expenses

All journeys must be pre-arranged with the co-ordinator. Details of the current mileage rate can be obtained by contacting the co-ordinator. Anyone in receipt of benefits may apply to the hospital for assistance with these charges.
